Q: How long does a typical repair take?
It can vary according to the fault, but you can expect to have your phone back within an hour. Playstation 3 and Xbox consoles require a longer testing period, we'll try and have your machine repaired and tested after 4 hours. Sony PSP and Nintendo DS machines will usually take about an hour to repair.

Our VIP repair service offers a same day repair for...
iDevices, Consoles and handheld consoles, PC's are not included in the VIP service due to the longer testing period and running updates/scans after the work has been completed.


Q: Is the work guaranteed?
Yes all the work is guaranteed for 90 days, if you have any problems with the work done within this period, return the item and we will gladly look at it for you free of charge.


Q: What happens if my device is beyond economical repair?
If the cost of repairing the item is higher than purchasing a replacement, we will let you know before we start work on the unit. We might offer to buy the device off you if it is in a suitable condition. We can also dispose of the machine following the WEEE directives on the disposal of electronic equipment or we can return the device to you.


Q: Can I drop off my phone?
Yes you can, we have several drop off points around York including our workshop in Osbaldwick.


Q: Can I wait while my repair is done?
We have a small reception area if you would like to wait while the work is done, we also provide a fantastic frothy coffee!


Q: I'm worried about posting my device?
There is no such thing as too much packaging, phones and smaller consoles will fit nicely in a shoebox with plenty of bubble wrap, clearly put our address on the front and your details on the reverse. We also recommend you sending the item Recorded Delivery so you are able to track the item at all times.


Q: Will I lose any data?
We cannot guarantee the safety of any data on your device and recommend that you make a backup before sending it to us. Obviously if the machine is not booting up you cannot do this and we take every precaution to ensure the safety of your data.


Q: Is there an express service?
If you are dropping off your apple devise to our workshop we will repair this in the hour, games consoles are repaired in 4 hours.


Q: Can you repair other types of phones and equipment?
We can repair other phones and mobile devises most, give us a call, or use the contact sheet; we are always willing to help.


Q: Do you sell accessories?
We currently have a small quantity of console accessories available including official pads, AV cables and power supplies.


Q: Do you unlock phones?
This depends on the model and software version on the phone, give us a call or fill out our contact us enquiry form and we will confirm if we can offer this service.


Q: Do you offer bulk discounts
Yes, give us a call to discuss a discounts for bulk work.
